Photo exhibition - the great birds of prey of the Oisans

Golden eagle, bearded vulture, vultures... Photographic exhibition by Cathy Hustache

Photographer Cathy Hustache has been exploring the Oisans region, and the Ferrand valley in particular, since she was very young. Over the course of countless hikes that have taken her to every corner of this sumptuous region, she has acquired a detailed knowledge of all its components: The fauna, the flora, but also the colours, the light and its shadows. While the golden eagle has always been present, the lammergeier and the vultures have arrived more recently. The author has captured the furtive flight of each of these great birds, and his photographs express some of the often hidden poetry of these fleeting moments. It's this kind, sensitive view that is conveyed in the photographs in the exhibition.
