Passing of Command Parade 93rd RAM - Ecrins battery

To mark the Passing of Command of the 93rd RAM of the Ecrins battery, come and watch a symbolic military parade! The procession will march from the Place des Deux Alpes along the Avenue de la Muzelle to the Palais des Sports.

The Batterie des Ecrins, a unit of the 93rd Mountain Artillery Regiment, is twinned with the commune of Les Deux Alpes, demonstrating a close and lasting partnership. This special relationship is reflected in our mutual collaboration in the development and implementation of various joint projects. The 93rd Mountain Artillery Regiment, heir to the Alpine batteries and the 1st Mountain Artillery Regiment, is based at Varces-Allières-et-Risset, on the outskirts of Grenoble. It is the last French regiment specialising in mountain artillery, and stands out for its ability to deploy its equipment in difficult-to-access mountainous terrain.
