Description

33rd edition of the traditional summer festival
For its 33nd edition, the Hay Festival invites you to step back in time for a weekend: period costumes, crafts from yesteryear, demonstrations of the skills of yesteryear...
All in a warm and friendly atmosphere!

A weekend-long return to our roots, in the purest of traditions.

A programme steeped in the atmosphere of days gone by: an open-air mass, a parade in period costume, a country-style aperitif, presentations and demonstrations of traditional crafts, folk groups, horse-drawn carriage rides, a market selling regional produce, and on-site food and drink stalls.

With some new additions to this year’s event: a special Hay Festival ‘Crazy Race’ will be organised, a village dance, a traditional meal and a DJ night… The Hay Festival is reinventing itself!
