Description
Let’s care for and celebrate the beauty of the glacier through a friendly participatory event with the guides of Les 2 Alpes and their partners!
Programme of the day:
Meet at 8:30 a.m. at the foot of the Jandri for a team briefing at 9:00 a.m. at 3,200 m.
9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.: Participatory clean-up hike in support of a zero-waste mountain, with the support of the SATA teams.
12:30 p.m.: Return for the sorting and analysis of the collected waste, followed by lunch at the 3200 restaurant.
2:00 p.m.: Celebrations for the SNGM anniversary, including the signing of the “Zero Wild Waste Mountain by 2030” charter by the Guides’ Office (Aeon Room).
2:30 p.m.: Conference “A History of Glaciers” by Anne Zanolin, PhD in Geosciences (Aeon Room).
